THE VALLEY’S PREMIER PERMANENT MAKEUP ARTIST SINCE 1985

Marilyn has chosen to exclusively use organic pigments versus iron oxides because of years of experimentation with both. ORGANIC pigments are not only longer lasting but recent scientific testing from the FDA, concludes that Premiers’ ORGANICS are easily removed with only one or two sessions of laser!

For the past 9 years, Marilyn’s Make Up Magic has been based in New Image Plastic Surgery center, allowing her to be knowledgeable and compliant with sterile, clean techniques and adhering to medical facility standards.

Formulating the World’s Finest Cosmetic Tattoo Pigments

A History of Premier Pigments

Premier uses inert organic and some inorganic powders in the formulas. Many of the powders are FD&C or D&C approved.

These pigments set the standard for quality permanent cosmetics for the industry. Over the years, our Original Colors and newer Concentrated Originals have been proven to be safe with no adverse reactions, long lasting and resistant to the sun. Hundreds of clients implanted with these pigments have safely undergone magnetic resonance imaging and CAT scans without burns or false images.

Premier Pigments’ mission is about longevity and safety of permanent cosmetics. One significant difference between Premier Pigments and other permanent cosmetics is that they limit the use of iron oxides and other ingredients that are known to fade and change colors

Other manufacturers initiated a study through the FDA as to the safety of Premier’s pigments. After 7 years of exhaustive studies, FDA has finally released this manufacturer from its study. This study is finally over, finding no fault with these amazing, stable organic pigments. No other product, in use today, has been investigated by this board. That speaks volumes for Premier Pigments.

The Results

Permanent makeup results can be noticeable (much like the application of traditional makeup) or less Permanent makeup results can be noticeable (much like the application of traditional makeup) or less noticeable, depending upon the design, color value and amount of organic pigment used. At first, permanent makeup results may look harsh, but this is due to color remaining in the outermost epidermal layer of the skin.

The color softens within a few days during the healing process as the upper layers of epidermis slough and is replaced by new epidermal cells. The best possible color results are realized from Premier’s pigments, but they will ultimately begin to fade over time. How much time is as individual as the woman who decides to use this superior product? Your individual beauty-span may be influenced by several possible factors, from environmental to procedural. Sun exposure fades color and the amount of organic pigments that deposit at the dermal level can affect the length of time permanent makeup looks its best.

Very natural looking applications are more likely to require re-application in a shorter time than more dramatic procedures because of the amount and strength of the inserted pigments. Individual influences include lifestyles that find a woman in the sun regularly including activities such as gardening, swimming, tennis or golf. Skin tones are a factor in color value changes as well. A skilled, experienced, permanent makeup professional can accentuate your natural beauty, because there is no such thing as an unattractive woman.

Let’s Talk Tattoo

Many historians claim that tattooing has been in existence since 12,000 years Be. The purpose of tattooing varies from culture to culture and its place on the time line. There are some commonalities that continue to prevail from the earliest known tattoos to those being done on high school and college students today. Tattoos have always had an important role in ritual and tradition. In early times women would tattoo symbols on their arms indicating their particular skill. or their status as prime marriageable material. Troughout history, tattoos have signified membership in a clan or society.

The earliest tattoos can be found in Egypt during the time of the construction of the great pyramids. Greeks used tattooing for communication among spies. Markings identified the spies and illustrated their rank. The Danes, Norse and Saxons tattooed family crests on their bodies. The Japanese body suit originated around 1700 as a reaction to strict laws regarding conspicuous consumption. Only royalty were allowed to wear ornate clothing.

In the late 1700′s Captain Cook returned to England with heavily tattooed Polynesian residents. The birthplace of the American style tattoo was in New York City by an artist by the name of Samuel O’Reily. He set up shop and experienced more customers than he could handle. It was not long before Samuel took on an apprentice named Charlie Wagner.

Today tattooing is more popular than ever before. All types of people seek the best tattoo artists available, and these men and women have risen to the status of fine artists. With the addition of organic inks, such as those offered by Primer Pigments, tattooing and permanent makeup have certainly reached a new plateau.
